Supporting leaders from diverse backgrounds

We began supporting women in positions of leadership, including through the menopause. We realised subsequently that others need specialist support to lead with confidence when they find themselves in the minority for whatever reason.

We are two very different people who demonstrate perfectly that two very different authentic people work together extremely productively.

We began our journeys in blue chip professional services firms in different continents. In those worlds we learned the importance of highest standards, accuracy, delivery and impact.

We met six years ago while working for an SME lender—Heather as an Organisational Psychologist & Coach, and Jenefer as Head of People. Despite our differences, we connected instantly. Our contrasting styles bring a valuable balance to our work. When working within organisations, having diverse approaches ensures we can connect with and support a wide range of personalities.

We’re always happy to provide one-off training or coaching as a trial. Our greatest impact comes from building long-term, trust-based partnerships with organisations.

The way in which we work has a big impact on your organisation, so we won't do anything without meeting you face to face, seeing your premises and getting an understanding of your organisation. We tailor everything we do to our audience and can only do this with knowledge and understanding.

We work face to face and remotely.

Heather is in Norfolk and Jen lives outside Bristol and we are very happy to travel. However, having supported an international team for many years, we also know how to create the same level of impact online. We won't run up travel expenses unnecessarily, but will work with you to strike the right balance for your team.

Everything we do has a structure, a time expectation and key deliverables. We are clear on how long our work will take, the commitment required from your team (in terms of attending coaching/training, as an example) and we will describe how you can measure the impact of our work. Our pricing is upfront and simple.

Impact is created through participation.

Perhaps it's because we're coaches, but we drive up learning by creating coaching and training programmes in which participants are engaged. We know that the more people can participate, the more they will learn.  We know some audiences are tough, but we have tips and tricks to ensure no one wastes their time with us.

We have a sister site, Work Well Now.

We have created this learning community for people who aren't receiving professional development in their workplace.  Budgets have been squeezed since COVID and people are missing out.

​

We can set up something similar for your people. They would be able to access training videos, supporting materials and access to a regularly-updated blog.

​

This is a surprisingly affordable option for small businesses, something that we administer ourselves, and could be a great option for keeping the learning alive between training sessions.
